Marley Betts lives in Australia with her husband and their five little people. She self-publishes the things she writes during stolen moments, or whenever she finds herself empty-handed (i.e. when the little people are in bed).

Along with her super awesome family, Marley loves:

 

• Music (Some faves are: Hanson, Silverchair, Daniel Johns, The Beatles, My Chemical Romance, The Dresden Dolls, Xavier Rudd...

• Reading and writing (Der)

• Making lists and goal setting (Thanks Leonie Dawson for your amaaayzing workbooks)

• Playing the ukulele (Badly. One day I'll master different strumming patterns)

• Peanut butter, cheesecake, pancakes, and Dr Pepper (I could live on that stuff)

• Long, swirly, impractical dresses and brightly coloured lips (That I don't wear often enough because I have a bunch of young children)

• Warm weather, sunshine, thunderstorms, and sky watching (Stars, clouds, birds, and the mooooon...)

• Craft, painting, and just generally being creative

• Writing about herself in the third person (That's how you're meant to write this 'About Me' stuff, right?!) 

 

She has kept a journal since she was in Grade 5 and would consider sharing entries for those who are interested in reading about climbing trees or having boyfriends who don’t actually know she exists. Things really start to get interesting once she hits puberty (...Marley is now making a mental note to later burn her journals).
